NaruBase™ Probe
Network diagnostics that speak plain English
NaruBase™ Probe is a Windows-based network diagnostic tool for non-technical users. Paste a failing URL and it runs DNS and TLS checks locally, pinpoints root causes like corporate certificate inspection or misrouted DNS, and produces a plain-language diagnosis you can hand to IT.
Download the latest build from GitHub Releases. Install, try it free for 7 days, then enter your license to keep using it.

1. What it does
Probe runs standard DNS and TLS diagnostic probes against the URL you give it, on your own machine. It walks the name resolution chain, inspects the certificate presented by the origin, and compares that to the trust store on your device. When something looks wrong — a corporate MITM certificate inserted by an on-device security agent, a DNS record pointing to the wrong CDN edge, an expired intermediate — the result is surfaced as a plain-language explanation instead of a raw stack trace.
2. Stop the IT-ticket ping-pong
Every diagnosis auto-formats into an IT support ticket: one paragraph describing what the user saw, a second with the technical evidence, and a third with a suggested next step. The ticket can be generated in multiple languages, which matters for teams running a global support desk. The goal is to turn a three-round back-and-forth into a single, actionable ticket.
3. Local, auditable, license-activated offline
Probe runs entirely on your machine. It does not phone home, does not upload URLs or certificates, and does not require an account. License activation is offline: you paste a signed license key once and the tool works without further contact. The diagnostic rule set is auditable — you can see exactly what each rule checks and why it fires.
